This morning’s talk was inspiring. So I’m gonna apply for an SAC Scholarship. Well at least try to. It’s gonna save my parents quite a bit of money anyway.
FL’s passing me her Bass guitar on Wednesday.
Some ball-kicking girl from TKG’s gonna be very happy.
Tomorrow’s April Fool’s YEAH. HMM LET’S SEEEEE…….YEAHHH
Sunday!
Some monster physics test tomorrow. Combined Humanities test on Tuesday which we gotta write 3 essays. Zzzzz.
But it’s 1st of April on that day so most likely I’m just gonna write a big “APRIL FOOL’S!” on the 12 mark essasy for Social Studies.
*Ponders*
Okay I’m so gonna do that.
It’s like 200 (I think 212) days to the 1st paper of ‘O’ Levels.
Wth which idiot actually bothers to count it down? -.-
That everything that you had said to me was just
A lie until you left
Now I’m hoping just a little bit stronger
Hold me up just a little bit longer
I’ll be fine, I swear
I’m just gone beyond repair.
Gotta be in school at 8am tomorrow to sit for the English test I missed on Wednesday.
Heh, it’s gonna be April in no time. Hence,
Studies > CCA
I’m feeling unusually high now. I found myself dancing as I washed the dishes. ;D
Come, break me down.
3rd post about TK Band.
FYI Rifat (spelling) from Band dislocated his knee today during high jump, and he still earned a 3rd Place for Tagore. ;D Some of you might have seen the ambulance in school this afternoon.
Ironically, he was the only Band member who participated in the Sports Day events althought he was warned not to already. He’s one of the only 2 Tom-tom players (yeah that’s what I call it) with the other being Azmi. And he has 16 days, and counting, to recover.
Gosh, you should have seen Mdm Nora’s face when she saw Rifat lying down on the mat clutching his knee. She wasn’t angry but she was smiling all the way..oh dear me.
Well anyway hope he recovers soon enough to take part in the SYF competition. For high jump, Rifat 3rd, Hairi 2nd and me coming in 1st place! ;D All from Tagore. Omg did I just feel proud of my house?! :O
NE Talk during assembly for the Sec 4s was amazingly very interesting. Was planning to sleep through it when the speaker opened his talk with this lame, cold joke which received the infamous “Ha. Ha. Ha.”s from the cohort.
But the rest of the talk was relevant and interesting. I think I learnt more from the talk than all Chinese Lessons put together. -.-
I’m still feeling pissy. ![]()
Try not to talk to me.

Read the post on this date. Yay let’s all start a cyber-war once more and maybe..just maybe there will be another public apology in front of school?
Gah I don’t care anyway.
I personally enjoy the band’s so-called “noise”, as others call it. It adds much needed life on Saturday mornings. And when they play in the field during weekdays, I’m probablly out of the school or in the Street Soccer court so it doesn’t affect me.
Anyway 18 more days to SYF. Hang in there, Dennis. When your competition is over, you can stop showing me your black face. Pun intended.
I don’t like what they’re teaching for A Math now. It’s so very pissy and saddening.
Thanks Melvin for Mayday Parade’s album. Sounds awesome, much better than Panic! At the Disco.
Anyway TK Band’s gonna win this year like they always do.
I don’t think losing is an option. -.-
Just look at the time they spend on training luh.

I don’t think anyone reads this blog so I’m just gonna say what I feel about a whole bunch of stuffs.
Disclaimer: Everything I say is how I personally feel. I’m not flaming anyone/anything neither am I condemming anything. This is my blog and I have the right to say how I feel here.
Well here goes.
House System.
Yes I know I’m one of the house leaders and shouldn’t be saying this, but the house system thing is probablly one of the worst things to be implemented. I’m not just saying this based on MY opinion, but based on all those in TK who also thinks the same way (Those other 3% not against it I’m sorry).
In my honest opinion, we should just stick to Interclass Events and stuff like that. Somehow, a bunch of 40 people are gonna be working together way better than like x/4, where x = total number of students.
Yes the house system’s a way to bring about changes and stuff, but seriously. Out of NOWHERE implement this new system, grab a couple of students out from the crowd and try to get everything organised and working?
Try as you may, but even the BEST leader, the best speaker, the best organiser or whoever simply cannot work with people who are unable to cooperate. By people I mean the members of the house, which until so far are very unsporty and don’t seem to be enthu. The Sec 1 and 2s are okay, catching on fast but the Sec 3 and 4s are just not bothered. Sec 4s have better things to worry about.
Not it’s not because the leaders are unable to rar-rar the students during house meetings. If the students actually show a little spirit and positive attitude towards the house system, then yes, I will be motivated and do the things I’m supposed to do as a Captain. But if 70% of the students are just gonna sit there and get screamed at just to move their butts, then no, I’m not gonna waste my breath or energy on people who already can’t be bothered.
Don’t get me wrong. I don’t blame the students for this. But seriously, the house system is too sudden (?) and the students are just simply not ready for it.
You want it to work out? Here’s what can be done.
Take it slowly. Don’t bloody rush the students into doing anything they don’t wanna do. Build up loyalty and team spirit in them. Let the teachers take the lead first then when the time is right, pick really on fire students to take up leadership positions.
If the teachers are unable to get the students excited about this system, what makes anyone think students are able to?
How I see it now is that everything is being rushed. You expect the house members to stand up, move around, shout scream and cheer for their houses when NOT A SINGLE house event has been organised. Think about it. Why would anyone wanna cheer, shout or scream for nothing on a Wednesday afternoon in between classes? It’s not like there’s a runner representing their house taking part in a race at that very moment.
For those people who participated in the house meetings with energy and gusto, I thank you greatly.
But until the 1st house event (Sports Day), things during meetings and stuff are just gonna remain stale and stagnent.
Who knows? Maybe in 2, 3 years time when the current Sec 1s (who are enthu) become the Seniors of the school, then yes things will get better.
Not now though.
K, done.
This is what I feel. No one said you got to agree to me.
*Rests*
Off to AMath homework now.
Then Muttons at Midnight until I doze off into dreamland.
Camp was fun. Basically the days were spend playing Xbox 360, guitar, football, basketball or volleyball. We even made our very own music video (-.-) while the bunch of clowns ran the camp.
Night Walk was fun too. Scarying the Sec 1s at 1A classroom together with Jasper, Mingyew, Andy and Joel.
Other than that, nights were spent under the stars by myself in the basketball court. Cold and wet, but relaxing no doubt.
Anyway I think that the camp was successful and the Sec 3 s did well in running it, besides a couple screw ups here and there. But thing’s aren’t always perfect anyway and everyone makes mistakes and that’s how we improve.
Got a couple of pictures to upload but I just woke up from a 16-hour long slumber and the gloomy weather ain’t making me feel any better. Can’t help but to feel just plain lousy.
