Sunday was spent mugging at the library with Sherlyn. Zhi Ning was supposed to join us but she changed her mind. Clayton joined us on our quest for eternal Physical Geography Knowledge, joined shortly afterwards by Meryl.

Out of the 4 topics that I studies for, 2 came out as pure questions which gladly attempted and hopefully will suceed in.

So I’m gonna risk not studying for Social Studies except the Sri Lanka/Northern Ireland Conflicts. Oh gosh.
My A Math is…gah. I don’t get Equation of Circles and STILL don’t bleeding understand trigonometry.

I haven’t started on my revision shit and exams starts this Friday. Shit shit shit I’m such a loser when it comes to studying.

Shit shit shit.

Shit shit shit.

“But when the night is falling
And you cannot find the light.
You feel your dreams are dying
Hold tight.”

“The higher we climb, the harder we fall. But that doesn’t mean that we gotta stop climbing.”

Well done TK Band. You guys were awesome, and you didn’t deserve to lose. The whole school was behind you on this one. For the Sec 4s, cheer up. It isn’t your fault and what matters is that you tried you best last night, with no regrets.

For the Sec 1s and 2, go kick some Deyi ass in the years to come.

10 Years of History is something to be proud of. And I don’t care what anyone else might say, but TK Band is still the Best Band in the Land.

And Sec 4 Band members can join us in our miserable world of after-school tests, lectures and lessons. :(

Mmmhmmm. I understand the stress and pressure involved, but I don’t think volunteers should be treated this way. :(

Oh well. I enjoyed today. Despite the heavy rains in the afternoon, training was fun, sharing all my Spec Course/Camp Pinnacle experiences with the Sec 3s. Won’t be long before they will start going for all these courses.

I honestly don’t feel like attending Sports Day this Friday. I’d rather cuddle up in my bed and get my rest, instead of sitting around Bedok Stadium for 4 hours cheering and screaming, only to be cheering and screaming that night, and shouting the next morning during CCA, and cheering and screaming again somemore during the SYF.

I’ll keep quiet during Sports Day, I promise.
That’s why I bought the airhorn…muahahaha. *Evil face*

Monday moring blues my friend. And it ended with a horrible 2 hour long Physics lecture. Well by the 1st hour I already finished all my handouts and was sprawled all over that miserable piece of wood they call a table. It was only worse that the air-con in the auditorium was switched off. Sneaked out for a couple minutes to take a shit in the Staff Toilet halfway through the lecture. HAHA, seriously. I needed to go badly. That badly.

On a brighter note, NPCC Campcraft team won 1st and 5th for Girls and Guys respectively. So kudos to them.
This week’s gonna be hectic, starting with a 4-Chapter Geography test after school tomorrow.
CCA’s on Tues and Thursday. Friday afternoon Sports Day followed by Planetshakers Concert.
Saturday calls for the last training before CCA stand-down followed by the highly anticipated Band Competition at the National Stadium.

And the VIDEOWORLD people are back.Mrs Aunty and Mr Uncle haven’t gone away after all. (That’s what I call them) Right acroos the street from their original location. Gah, that’s pretty lame cause they have been running that shop for 18 years then they move out and open up the same shop right across the road. But it’s good news to me cause now I can buy flavoured water after school if I’m feeling thirsty. ^^

Haha let’s enjoy this week and get through it :)

Let me quote something from Amirul here.

“Only in Singapore are you allowed to put questions about life aside for the first 25 years of your life or so because you’re too busy studying. Only in Singapore.”

How true is that. I wanna go overseas and study when I complete my JC life. Life here in Singapore’s so mundane, so routine. Yes, their trying to improve, but I don’t see myself going to casinos or watching F1 Night Races. There’s no drive for me in that. (Pun)

New Zealand/Australia sounds like a very laid back place with freah air and a very relaxed lifestyle.
European countries are nice places too, but I’d prefer a place by the beach where the crimson sunsets would be the best way to unwind after a long day. I’d want the climate to be cool, not cold, and sunny. And where the flowers spring up everywhere and where every single person in the community knows each other and are very friendly. No rushing to board the trains or buses as everyone would prefer to walk by the boulevard, enjoying life as it is.

I wanna take nice relaxing walks along the golden sandy beaches with my girlfriend, enjoying the sunset and the cool ocean breeze as we share our lives with each other. Every single day, that’s how I wanna live my life.

Pfft. Land of make believe. Not gonna happen I suppose. Global Warming’s screwing us all.
There you go teachers, MOE Officals and everyone else who thinks studying all day long’s gonna get us somewhere. No amount of textbook knowledge or studying’s gonna save our planet now.
I switched off my lights for 1 hour and 4 minutes during Earth Hour at 8pm GST. I hope YOU did your part, instead of studying ignorantly in a brightly lit room while the world around you tried in vain to save this dying planet.

What I’m trying to say is, loosen up luh people.
Studying is not everything. Dammit, Singaporeans just don’t have the X-Factor, and no amount of studying is gonna make up for it. Those who got that “X-Factor” simply pack up and leave as TNCs all over the world call for their talent and they know better than to lead a boring mundane life here in the Sunny Island of Singapore.

Sorry, I just can’t stand the fact that you only can go THAT far in life if you don’t have the paperwork and certificates. Meritocracy. Pfft.

School today was unsually quiet with the absence of the band and the Sec 1s.
It was only like 10 instructers, Sec 2s and 3s and that’s it. It seemed like camp last year, where we had the whole school to ourselves.

Last year, we had to get up super early every Saturday morning, meet up at Macs at 6am and take an hour bus ride to Yio Chu Kang for the parade trainings.
And after that, every Saturday and Sunday, for another 2 months or so, meet up at 7am at the same Macs, take an hour bus ride to Changi Sea Sports Club for kayaking trainings. All in TK’s name.

Yes, we were full of complains back then, having to leave school every Wednesday to go for kayaking trainings, or even waking up in the un-earthly hours of the morning to go for something we didn’t want to go.

But looking back at it now. I kinda miss it. Having breakfast with the usuals during the good ol’ times, going home on the bus from Changi looking like burnt lobsters after hours of kayaking.

Time’s passing too quickly. It’s April already. SEACOM trainings are gonna start in a couple weeks time and POP’s also gonna be round the corner.
It all ends with the big Os.

:(

This morning was epic failure. I passed the bass guitar to Mar without even seeing her at all. -.- TKG had their sports day today anyway at Bedok stadium, speaking of which we’re going next Friday.

School was kinda stale today, apart from a very awesome game of softball we played during PE, it was a normal, boring Friday. There’s trainings again tomorrow, and I don’t feel like going cause me stomache seems to be getting worse. So if you see me with a constipated look on my face..well yes I am constipated as a matter of fact. -.-

Imran’s into Boyce Avenue now. HAHA AND I KNOW WHY. THAT SUPER DUPER LUCKY SON OF A

Oh geeeeeeeeeeeeeeez. -.-
Ahahaha okay I’m feeling random.
I don’t feel like going to school tomorrow. My stomach has been giving me the growls since this morning. Tahan throughout the whole day man. I’m hoping it’s not gastric or something..>.< On the brightside, there’s no Chinese lessons tomorrow after school, but CCA until 6pm+

Bummer.
