This one’s for Azri.

1. I befriended you cause you were in the same class as me in Sec 1. From then on, you were one of my (if not the) closest friends, all the way until now although we aren’t in the same class.
2. The Prestige. Yep, you remind me of long-winded plots. Oh and we caught that movie together too.
3. I almost killed you in Sec 2 during a PW meeting, like literally.
4. During training, you were doing push-ups beside me.
5. Monkey
6. Why did you ever love Cynthia.

Haha go to his blog (http://ablogwithnoproperurl.blogspot.com) to find the original questions to this little quiz.
Alright I was sleeping the whole afternoon so I can stay up for tonight’s finals. And during which I’ll do my homework which would be due in a few hours.

I say Germany 2-1 win against Spain. Mingyew says 2-0 in Spain’s favour but David Villa isn’t playing.
Anything goes actually.

It’s a Friday. There’s a couple things pissing me off in school for the weeks to come.

  1. There’s training Tomorrow.
  2. There’s NCC Day on Tuesday, which WE gotta take part in and we don’t want to.
  3. Some house event’s gonna happen, in which I have to put effort in something.
  4. Tests, tests and more test.
  5. O Level Chinese Oral just now, in which I didn’t understand the topic and fucked up badly.

K, nevermind, Cheryl Lee just re-lent me The Secret Lives of…, The Veronica’s first album. Yes I do listen to pop eg, Hilary Duff, Aly & AJ and I think it’s nice. K The Veronicas are gonna cheer me up tonight. :O

On a better note, Germany’s in the finals with Spain. Germany beating Turkey 3-2 and Spain beating Russia 3-0.

Was telling Wanfong before the match that I predict that Germany will win Turks 3-2 after a 1-1 game for the 1st half. Damn la, should have put some money on that prediction or something. Was a good match with Turks drawing first blood but Schweinsteiger equalised few mins later. Klose and Klam provided the other 2 goals which brought the Germans to truimph over their enemy.

I liked WF’s sms after Schweinsteiger scored; “My future boyfriend. =D”

4B hasn’t payed attention during the truncated lessons, where the whole topic of Vectors in E Math was taught.

So today our new E math teacher Mdm Ong asked the class if we had started on vectors. We answered yes, hoping that she’ll not teach today and instead let us slack (what were we thinking).

“Alright. Here’s something to see how much you know about the topic”
“:O”

Hahahaha, after everyone handed up their papers, she looked through them and said to me,
“Eh, you all haven’t started on Vectors, ah?”

*Standing Ovation*

Watching MTV Movie Awards now, imagine if I ever DID win an award for some role I played, that would be awesome. Then I will walk up there and thank my parents, friends and my wife, (Hayley).

I’m dreaming too much I think. K anyway the new time table looks awesome, only on Wednesdays. I think there’s only 4 subjects on that day so I’m pleased. But other days pretty much suck. Just back from my (lousy) haircut and school’s opening tomorrow! Yay, one more day closer to the Os. Honestly, as much as I dread the Os, I can’t wait for the Os to come and pass.

Alright Paul (Yes, remember Paul) has “promised” me Singfest passes as he can’t make it, but being Paul, I don’t think I’ll be getting them.

Camps are fun.

2 Vids to promote my band. Yadadadada

I reached home at around 6.30am this morning, with mum already eating breakfast getting ready for work. So I did something most average Singaporean kids our age wouldn’t do much these days; stand at the window from 6.30am to 7.30-ish, watching the darkness of the sky turn to light.

Now that ain’t much of a big deal but it’s relaxing. Like, really really relaxing. Watching the blackness of the land, the soft blue pale light creeping in, the birds chirping, cool morning air etc. It’s already Wednesday, that means thats 4 more days until school reopens. Not gonna chiong the homework, instead just take it easy, sit back and relax and do what can be done.

Just like last night, with Jasper and Mingyew. Starbucks from 11pm to 5am in the morning, sitting, talking, drinking, eating and just enjoying life as it is.

I think 27 bucks worth of coffee. It’s an expensive lifestyle, but what the heck.

Anyway, my mum warned me of the risks of high blood pressure, diabeties, stroke and all the yadayada stuff related to consuming too much sugar. I’m like please I think the chances of me dying in a plane crash, sky diving accident or some wild stunt-related death would be higher than me dying of some biological nonsense crap.

Maybe that’s what I should do with my life? Heh, if you ask’d me, I’d rather live 30 years doing wild shit, having the time of my life and living life to the max, die at 31 because of some alcohol overdoes incident than study in Singapore for 30 years, serve the NS, get a high paying desk job and work my ass off for the next 20-30 years then retiring, leaving the world at a ripe old age of 85.

One of the best days of my life is coming up. I’m gonna pass out from NCC.

Not only it’s the title of a song from Paramore, but it’s exactly what the Singapore Govt is facing right now. K, politcally sensitive topic here. Anyway, this is with regards to the Straits Time’s article today in Saturday Special Report (Dated 14/06/2008) about how the Singapore Govt is trying to “tug” at the over 150,000 Singaporeans who have settled down overseas to come back to Singapore.

I’m just gonna give my point of view in this whole “situation” the govt’s in. They reported in the papers that “1 out of 4 A Level Grads settle down permanently overseas” and over “1000 Singapore Citizens give up their citizenship”. I’m like, I don’t blame them. Sorry but maybe it’s the high levels of stress and competition in the Singapore Education System that really, REALLY, pisses students off? Or maybe learning and the whole idea of teaching and sharing just doesn’t seem fun to us anymore, and it’s becoming more of an obligation.

50% of the stuff we learn in school are mostly crap and never would be use it in life (k maybe 50 years from now I’ll be proved wrong, but I don’t see how simply ridiculous math equations are gonna be applied). Learning becomes more of an obligation rather than a passion. Shit I WAS interested in math last time, but somehow I don’t like it anymore. The way I see things being taught in schools is students are taught to REMEMBER the cold hard facts, not by letting them know WHY it is such. Learn this, remember this, study this. Of course I must be fair to some exceptions, some teachers do actually make the effort and make learning fun for students, or at least they try. Social Studies is plain bullcrap IMO, talk about propaganda shit.

My point is, it’s no wonder so many Singaporeans are gonna choose to leave this country. I’ve heard 1st person accounts of how simple and easy life is overseas. How one can be happy, just by living off a simple job as a cook or waitress. If I were to write everything it’s gonna take hours.

Singapore is a competitive state. To survive, one must be at the top and fight to be at the top. You can’t force everyone to have this attitude towards life. There’s those who wanna just step back, relax and enjoy life as it is. And the only way? Get away. Migrate. So no point trying to get them back IMO. For me personally, it’s really such a temptation to follow in the footsteps of these 150000+ people.

Woots, talk about rants man. K everything above it like totally random and I just felt like saying it. :O

Above is an awesome picture of my chinese teacher. I’ll paste her picture on my wall in front of my study table (yes I do have one) so I can look to her for inspiration and encouragement when the going gets tough. Chinese O Level Oral exam’s coming up I think first week on school. Bummer.

Contradictory to the title of this post, this ain’t gonna be some teenage angst random rants, although I have much to say. It’s like 1 week + a day and a half before school reopens again. Lot’s to do, list includes a haircut, complete my homework and start studying.

K, hitting the books with Jasper/Mingyew tomorrow night at Changi Airport Starbucks. 8pm to 6am nonstop (occasional break) studying has never been acheived in my life before, so I’m gonna set a personal record. This would be the first time, and hopefully my last.

Just thinking about it. I wanna go to Victoria JC like super badly. But what if I can’t make it? Am I gonna go to any other JC? If so then which. Gah, you know I might just end up going to TP luh.
So it’s like VJC, maybe TJC and if unable for the above 2, then TP it is. ITE Simei is my last choice.

Pictures are pretty much in chronological order. Gotta thank everyone for making last night one hell of a time. Zhafri must learn to get out of my sight.

2 days, 1 night. Haha. Damn.

Sorry for the long hibernation. Been quite busy lately. Okay my Dad was in Singapore over the weekend, together with my aunt. She ran in the Adiddas Sundown Marathon, which was awesom imo. K, my Dad wants to sign me up for a Scuba Diving Course. As much as I’m super interested in that as I love the sea and everything to do with it, I’m having second throughts as I gotta work hard for my Os la. VJC. That’s the one and only I guess?

I guess getting eaten by a shark or dying while trying to save my diving buddy would be a better way to die then getting killed on the streets of Singapore as I stumble drunk out of a club in the near future.

Okay, truncated’s great? It’s coming to a sweet end soon. Then it’s 2 weeks of real, well deserved rest? Gosh, and I’ve barked up 3 wrong trees in the past 2 weeks. T.T

*Cough Cough*
