Teachers’ Day

..Is tomorrow. So I’m gonna thank Mrs S. Koh, Ms Nani, Mrs Tan, Mrs Chen and Ms Goh who are my favouritest teachers in the whole wide world. Without you guys, I don’t think I’ll would have been able that it’s possible to acheive my 6-points in O Levels.

Okay so yesterday was the last official day of school for the Sec 4s. 4D made a clown outta their class and my class thrashed the classroom. Think baseball with a broken guitar, a chinese dictonary and frisbee!

Hahahaha okay let’s make tomorrow the bestest ACES/Teachers’ Day eva. (:

Tomorrow’s like the “last day” of official school for us. Hmm, Thursday is the start of our Prelims, then after holidays would be the rest of the papers. Aft that truncated lessons then is the last dash for the Os.

Speaking of the last dash, probably heading out to Baybeats this Friday/Saturday to check things out. Then I’m literally gonna mug through the holidays! Omg that sounds so damn fun and I’m not being sacarstic.

Best of luck for Prelims and Os everybody. Then on the 2nd week of 2009, I shall come back and collect my 6-Points for Os. (:

Ingenuity

I thought the Opening Ceremony of Beijing 2008 was fantastic. Heh, the Closing Ceremony is even better. Like really, the world has much to learn from China.

Past 16 days have been fantastic; able to watch world class events.

Now in 2010, the Youth Olympics will be held in Singapore. And I’m so gonna get tickets to the opening ceremony for that one. Talk about some National Pride.

Dangerously Happy

The time to decide will come. What to do after secondary school education. Go overseas? Poly? JC? These would be the 3 main choices I have. Everyone says JC is the best. Well of course Mrs Koh said “you’ll miss out on all the fun if you go to Poly”. Well with all due respect, I wanna try something new you see. Even going overseas, staying all by myself in a hostel would definitely be an adventure for me.

So what if I don’t get a fantastic education, or some top degree. As long as you do something you’re interested in, it’s fine with me. And it’s not all about a job when you grow up. Like I mentioned to Jocina before, my little dream is to take part in the Olympics (trust me this dream came wayy before Beijing 2008).

It’s riduculously near to the O levels already and I’m not feeling the pressure. Couple years ago, when I think about the Os, I’ll see myself mugging through the night weeks before the exam, cause Os were the big thing. I see the Os as the “judgement day” and stuff like that, and that it would be that period of time which would rly get me to stay on my ass and do whats right.

How wrong I am. 2 months more and it’s all over. And look at me, taking things so easily. I honestly expected it to be much much much much more stressful than this but school just breezes past day by day. Beginning of this year, when the HODs talked to us and stuff, yeah everyone was saying “Oh man, let’s do this”, “This is it, O Level Year”, “One last final stretch” and so on. But seriously, after a couple of weeks, we know it’s not like that.

I’m taking things too darn easiy, and I’m terribly afraid of that.

Part of me’s already yelling out “START WORKING JUSTIN!”

The other’s calling me to sit back, relax, take things as they come, be confident, and enjoy the scenery as it passes you in life.

Mrs Koh will kill me if she read this post.

The World Is Just Awesome

Singapore’s getting her first Olympic medal since her independence in 1965.

So what shall I do. Stay at home and complete the ridiculous amount of homework I have over the weekend, or join the rest at ECP for cycling, celebrating Azri’s birthday.

Honestly I feel bad about not going, since people did turn up for my birthday and stuff, but rly the timing sucks. Right smack before prelims. =/

Many things piss me off in school, one of which includes people crying out for attention.

Better note, English Oral’s over, Math’s test over, Chinese is done and over with. And class photo taking next Tuesday, yay let’s make that 4B fun shot the most wtf shot ever. All in?

Sorry but all my posts really lack content now, just because I’m in no mood to sit in front of the computer and think for this period of time. I mean, 70% of the time spent in front of the computer is wasted staring at the desktop with iTunes and MSN Messenger running, nothing else. Then if I’m not at the computer, I will be at my table reading some stuff which doesn’t get within an inch to my non-existant brain.

Lol shit I really need to pull my socks up to my ass this weekend. Starbucks here I come.

Haha yay okay I’m super duper happy I’ve passed, considering this is my first pass in 4 years. FYI the last pass I got in Chinese was an A in PSLE. LOL.
AND I PASSED MY ORAL, which is wtf cause I didn’t understand the topic. HAHA.

Jasper got his 1. Mingyew got a 2. Andy got a 3. Dennis got a 4. Alison got a 5. Joshua got a 6.
Like random but yeah whatever. I’m so not gonna retake chinese anymore. I’m done and over with it. Rawr.

So I called my mum in class after the results;

Me: Mummy! A1 for Chinese!
Mum: What?! WELLLLL DONEEEEEEEEE!
Me: Nah, Just kidding I got a C5.
Mum: Cheyyy. Good job good job!
Me: I’m so not retaking Chinese.
Mum: Yes, yes, yes! Don’t retake!

Hahah I have the bestest mother in the world.

On to other things, my English Oral Os are tomorrow and I’m actually worried. Like shit. -.-
One chance, I hope I won’t screw it up! Argh.

China impressed me; the Olympics Opening Ceremony was like, super nice. Lol. NDP on the next day was boring so I switched to watch the swimming events.

And it’s kinda hard to sit down and start on revision when you have 5 channels showing different Olympic Events at the same time. And Tao Li of Singapore has managed to get into the 100m Butterfly Finals. Hopefully Singapore’s gonna get an Olympic Medal. xD

Thank God there’s no school tomorrow. ^^
